another big earthquake in Japan

Post by mare_serenitatis » Fri Dec 07, 2012 9:07 am

I just heard that Japan has been hit by yet anotherbig earthquake. Apparently a 7.4 one.
There is a Tsunami warning but at the moment they don't expect anything bigger than 1 m (3 feet). However, as Japanese earthquakes seem to often come in groups of 3 or 4, there might still be a bigger one, later today. :(

Has someone heard of Yun lately? I haven't been in contact with her in months.

I did hear about the earthquake. I believe that there was not too many lives lost, thank goodness. I hope Jun is okay.

Thank you my friends for your concerns .
That EQ was not serious and many people in Tohoku kept away from the coasts but they didn't get any damage from a tsunami.
We usually have 10 or more earthquakes a day in Japan.
