Things cleared up overnight, so today was a nice sunny day. It got up to 66. I got to keep the windows open for a while.

Re: The Walking Dead - Season 10 - SPOILERS!

^^ You should be able to catch them on On Demand with no problem. So anyway, this was a very special episode about The Whisperers, showing how Alpha and Beta met during the early days of the Zombie Apocalypse. He was an inmate in a rubber room and she was a sociopath long before the Zombies came. An...

Re: Check-In 100: The Centenary Edition!

Good morning, everybody. :hello: Hopefully a nice lazy day lies ahead. I'm not sure if my cousin is opening the shop today or not.... Such a disturbing account of the unraveling of the human psyche.... I think the "controversy" surrounding the movie is a more disturbing account of the human psyche. ...

Re: Author's Thread #12

Thank you very much. I imagine I'll have some stiff competition, but it's hard to know how widely known this contest is. And there's only one winner in each category. But it looks like there will be feedback from the beta readers, so that will be interesting, at least.

Yes, both of those are great movies, seen frequently on the local UHF channels when I was a kid. I'm sure TCM has had them both, but I can't remember the last time I've seen them.

Re: The Weather and All Things in the Sky

Not a bad day today, with a high of 66. The wind has died down, but we still had a sky full of angry gray clowns letting through some intermittent sunshine. There are some patches of blue up there now as the sun goes down.
