I do leave my onions in the ground. I do not cover them. Usually, they are fine by July, but this year, only half of the onions were good. I blame the wet spring.

Re: Check-In 100: The Centenary Edition!

Good morning! I slept in until 8:30am! However, I went to bed at 1:00am. We had some winds overnight. Our patio umbrella took off and damaged the next door neighbors SUV. They took the news well. I decided it is Ron's problem to figure out how to pay for it. I did have a pleasant time with Ron at Ce...

Re: Infirmary Thread #17: Pass the Bandages

Yesterday, since I have access to medical records, and my appointment is not until next week, I took a peek at my lab results. I have hypothyroidism. I had a suspicion that is what has been going on with me. This past week, Ron has been complaining about his eyesight, and was blaming his antipsychot...

Re: Garden Club V: Herbs, Vegetables, and Blooms

The spring and early summer were too cold and wet for the vegetables. August and September were too cold and dry. I planted four bell pepper plants, but only harvested one pepper. The tomatoes and cucumbers did okay. I only got one zucchini. Peas were bad, but green beans were good. Onions are doing...

Good morning! I do have a lot to do at work, today. It will just be me and the nurse practitioner. She is a lot of fun. All my coworkers are fun. I'm very thankful to work at a place where all the employees get along so well. This evening, Ron and I are going to Cedar Point for the haunted houses. I...

I think my garden is dead. It has been seriously neglected. I hope it's just dormant. :( The vegetable garden. It is dead. I need to pull everything out for the winter. Ron will probably plant grass seed there in the Spring. If and when I do find a permanent place, Ron is going to let me t...

Re: Check-In 100: The Centenary Edition!

Good morning! Today I am going to start sorting and packing. This really sucks, because due to no fault of my own, I am the one being uprooted from my home, my home town, and the life that I had. I wish I could keep this house, but I cannot afford it. I decided to stay in Ohio for 1 year, so that I ...

Re: Check-In 100: The Centenary Edition!

Good morning! Today is my long day of work. At least I like hanging out with my coworkers. I'm meeting Jen after work to catch her up on things. I have not seen her since the 4th of July. So, over the weekend, I had a conversation with someone about how I go for a walk around 8-8:30pm every evening....

Good morning!

Another day of work. That is it for today. My boss is still a jerk, and my coworkers are still fun. Yesterday, I ran into a certain someone at the grocery store. :)
