Yeah, I love the imagery in The Viy. I could enjoy that one even if it was all in Russian.

In this chilling installment of our show, the Sea Creature Lounge Drive-In Creature Double Feature is bringing you a very special podcast-- complete with pods! In this age of unprecedented paranoia and zero tolerance and maximum extremism, what could be more entertaining than entertaining the notion of a covert alien invasion? Our theme this week is "Trust No One!" The concession stand will be serving knock-off brands of your favorite snacks. Bring your own taster.

The original is a real classic and I've seen it several times. I do wonder what happens to the original people once the pod person hatches, which the movie doesn't seem to explain.
I've never seen the remake/sequel.

I've never seen the 70s remake, mainly because Donald Sutherland creeps me the hell out. The original is an all-time classic, though. I should make sure that I have it on DVD.

Nobody knows what form life in the universe may take, or how first contact will be made. Never was this more true than in the 80s, when the Dangerous Visions of the previous decade were replaced with the Deranged Visions of the next. Our theme this week is "This Is Your Brain On Drugs." The concession stand will be serving Methadone.

Liquid Sky sounds familiar but I'm certain I've never seen it. It does look very stylish though. The Brother from Another Planet is another one of those films I keep hearing about but have never seen.

I've heard of both but haven't seen either. Liquid Sky looks nicely psychedelic.
