Check-in 115: moscovium stamp folding problem

Even wilder and wackier than pre-crash Miscellaneous, the survivors talk about the weather, puppies, work, and coffee.

Just found out that my son is in the hospital. :( He originally went to Peterborough, but they transferred him to Cheshire Medical in Keene. He's going to have an endoscopy tomorrow morning. His aid has been keeping me up to date. I'm hoping it turns out to be just an ulcer. The docs seen to think it's from all the ibuprofen he takes. He's on a high dose prescription and has been for years.
Hope he's OK.

^^ It’s very sad. I’ll give details when I get home.

The bank is actually being very helpful and we’ve accomplished part of what we need to. But there’s a lot more we need to do in the next 1.5 days and it all depends on other people helping us.

Good evening. :hello:

My son had his endoscopy. As we thought it's an ulcer. What happened..... well, when his aid got to his apartment Saturday morning, he was vomiting blood. Off to the ER. Peterborough didn't have any room for him and they had to wait for a bed to transfer him to Keene.

I talked to his doctor today. He said that Dennis will be in the hospital for some number of days so they can treat him. And they're positive it's from the high doses of ibuprofen he's been taking for so long.

Anyway, that's what's going on in my life.

I did go to the gas station this morning and did some vacuuming when I got home.

Tomorrow I have an appointment for a haircut and I'm having lunch with my friend.

Queenie is staring at me. She wants food. I've put her on an actual diet and have cut her food ration by a third. It's been a week and a half and I haven't given into her stare at all! :D

Ok. That's it for me for today. You all take care.

Oh, right. I'm still waiting. Lupy is right - they could have built a new compressor by hand in the three and a half weeks I've been waiting.

At least it's only an ulcer. Still bad but at least it can be treated.

Good morning!

It was still very hot and muggy when I left work, so I went swimming at Sue and Dave's. There is not much happening today, other than work, and purchasing my Queen of Hearts ticket. I'm going to stop up to buy my ticket at the door, and leave. There are hundreds of people in that place, and not one wears a mask. I decided it is best for me not to participate.

RJ, I am glad you are there to help emma. You are a very special person to take on such a feat.

jgc, I am glad it is just an ulcer, and not something worse. I hope the doctors can help you son get better, soon.

Feel better Madeliaette.

Good morning, I think, everybody. :hello:

We have more complications, but we’re good for the moment. We got emma’s back rent paid, but now we must find a more permanent solution. I have a couple of leads and ideas.

Oh, and I was notified that I’m a winner of the Arkham Bazaar contest again— with “The Mold From Out Of Space,” so Lupy’s a winner too. :D

Good afternoon. :hello:

Biggest news: my AC is fixed!!!!

Dennis is still in the hospital. I got his Aunt put on as someone who can get info and visit. Although only one visitor a day.

We all know that RJ is a very special guy. If his picture isn't in the dictionary under "hero", it should be.

Oh, I stayed home today. Somehow, I hurt my back. Getting out of bed? :conf: Who knows.

Everyone take care and have a good day.

No check-in from RJ since this morning.
i think.....he might be a tad 'busy'.... don;t you?
i speak from personal experience within the world of 'care'.... ;)
i recall when caring for my dad...it was FT....and as a care worker now, its PT but VERY involving.
i am not - yet - alarmed to such extent as to worry.... :D perhaps if we hear nothing for 48 hours or more, I may change my mind and start to question his ability to remain alive, but.....
Amazing that you can clean at 3:30am  What exactly is "pond maintenance"?
why so? wiping surfaces etc is not noisy....and my son was at work....
pm is scooping duckweed out the pond, scooping fallen leaves out the pond, scooping dead slugs out the pond, scooping other debris out the pond - and replacing any pond snails/pond weed i accidentally scooped out.
i have also done a study unit and some laundry and chores and...methinks tis time for lunch prep!
