Dinner: Look what I ate.

Even wilder and wackier than pre-crash Miscellaneous, the survivors talk about the weather, puppies, work, and coffee.

Last night, at the wedding, we had Filet Mignon and mashed potatoes-- I think the vegetable was string beans. The alternatives were a fish dish and a vegetarian dish. The appetizers were amazing, including some delicious stuffed mushrooms and little cuts of lamb-- I ate more in appetizers than I usually eat for dinner. Then, just as I was leaving, the waiters started coming around with little cardboard cones that had a tiny cheeseburger and a bunch of fries, which I took with me and ate at home.

Tonight I'm having a chicken pot pie.

^^ That all sounds amazing. Your brother Steve said he had fun schmoozing with people. When I said you hated small talk, he reaffirmed what you said about hating it but being good at it.

Luckily it was mostly relatives, so I didn't really have to bother. I was able to just sit there and alternate the wine, the champagne, and the Sam Adams.
