In the Exciting Life of Cayla's Quarantine vacuumed the 2nd floor of the house, played truant officer (my 10 year old roommate figured out how to cut/skip online school), prepared 2 meals for 10 year old, talked to one elderly lady from church, began reading a book, scheduled tomorrow's COVID Test, watched a couple episodes of the 4th season of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,and.....my office received the invite for Phase 1a vaccination, so I registered for it.
RJ, as for food...I broke the rules and picked up a boat load of food from Texas Road House on Tuesday evening. Curbside pick-up, of course. I did stock up on items last Thursday, in anticipation of this quarantine. I'm good on food. In fact, out of boredom, I am eating more than I should.

scottydog, the Board of Health is going by the date I told them I began quarantining....1/9. It is a 10 day quarantine. If I test negative tomorrow, they may release me. I have also decided to get the antibody test, tomorrow. Kelly's last day of isolation was yesterday (She is quarantined until Monday). She still isn't feeling well (short of breath upon exertion, and fatigued), but should no longer be contagious.
As for creamed corn...I love it, but I don't have it often. Grits....I only like it if there is a ton of cheese in it. My grandmother used to take a can of cream corn and mix it with a tablespoon or two of flour and 1 egg. She would fry it into little "pancakes", and sprinkle salt on top. She called them corn cakes. After talking and typing this, I want to make some.
