Welcome Thread Part II

Even wilder and wackier than pre-crash Miscellaneous, the survivors talk about the weather, puppies, work, and coffee.

Yes, exactly. I'm teasing her because I made it up for her in Chat one week.

Hi Orpheus! it's me, mare_serenitatis from EI :) :hello:
Welcome to the club and thanks for the previous technical help with the board.
I'm atm with my parents and have only a tiny laptop and limited internet access, but by Epiphany I'll be home on my own computer again and shall give you the access data for the new server onto which we'll move the board in January. (Or you simply ask Rick for a copy of the login data).

Have a merry Christmas!

Hi Huggle, Welcome Orpheus when you get here.
RJ I wasn't able to post at SC for the last couple of days, the page never loaded for me. : ( I am truly sad. And I hope Enk finds her way here and I hope to see her again.

^^ Me, too. Both Ex Isle and Shattered Corpse have been down for about five days now (they're both on the same server). Orph says that there was a billing snafu at the host farm because of some business rearrangement-- they ended up not getting paid for a couple of months and shut down the server. That's been taken care of, but the server has yet to be reactivated. I hope they didn't delete both of the forums. Even if they didn't, I don't know what will happen to SC, since it was going to close at the end of the year anyway-- though Orph and I were talking about possible ways to keep it alive, even if just as an archive.

If you talk to Enke anywhere, like at TK, be sure she's aware of my email and invitation. I don't think she had a chance to see it.

Actually, they're both back. They must have just reappeared in the last couple of hours, because I checked this afternoon.

I'd like to introduce our newest member to you: Lyanna :totem:, whom those of us who post at TrekBBS know under the name Marynator. :hello:
She's the friendliest poster over there, she's interested in literature, loves to chat with people and unfortunately chocolate and cocoa don't agree with her - a tragical fate if ever there was one - so please nothing cocoa-ish at the welcome party *passes around panna cotta, freshly picked strawberries and shortbread*

Welcome, Lyanna, don't be shy, just relax and enjoy yourself

Have fun exploring the board and don't be surprised if in the next days it gradually changes its colours and looks - I'll be trying to restore the old template this weekend. It's supposed to looked like this: http://nusseymagazine.com/phpBB3Next/

LOL Lupy, you are fast! I usually edit my posts at least twice to weed out all typos and edit the grammar.

Welcome to ReNext, Lyanna. :hello:

Definitely the nicest place on the Internet, if I do say so myself. :cooldude:

Make yourself at home and feel free to start your own threads if you don't see what you're looking for.

Just a word of caution: scotty has chocolate breath.

Welcome :)
Hmm I always pictured scotty smelling of butterscotch or toffees. Maybe it's a subconscious association triggered by the name.
