Some pics from our annual pilgrimage to the LA Fair.
I wish I could be here at night to see if they show anything on that screen.
A collage inside the art museum.
And it looks like they've made a major discovery at the outdoor model train layout.

Re: The Picture Thread VII: Stay Focused
I'll see if I can start going through my photo folders this weekend.
Cool! The Mother Road, Route 66! And Winslow, Arizona-- a nice place to stand on the corner, from what I hear.
Looks like they must. Coincidentally, they've got a Burt Reynolds movie on the bill. Adios, Burt.I wish I could be here at night to see if they show anything on that screen.

A rather sad coincidence.RJDiogenes wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 9:50 pmLooks like they must. Coincidentally, they've got a Burt Reynolds movie on the bill. Adios, Burt.

This isn't the best shot, but it's kind of pretty. It's a White-tail deer using the walnut tree to hide from Echo (the horse):

Very pretty, and that's a nice shot-- the deer, the woods, the giant tree, dandelions or something in the foreground. Is that a dead branch dangling in the giant tree?

And here are some new pictures from emma:
A picture of the Moon, looking almost like a painting.
I tried to zoom in as much as I could.
And here's another selfie of emma, wearing her pearl necklace with her new cerise shirt.

Re: The Picture Thread VII: Stay Focused
Thank you, it is. The horses can literally disappear into the trees. And I should know, I have spent many a day/night trying to find one of them, and it's only 8 acres of pasture!
Thank you. Nope, no dandelions, just light filtering through the trees and catching the tips of weeds.RJDiogenes wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 9:27 pmVery pretty, and that's a nice shot-- the deer, the woods, the giant tree, dandelions or something in the foreground. Yep. I think it's the only dead branch at the moment. It's an old tree, it's had many dead branches over the years. When the day comes that it's time to cut it down (if I am still alive), I plan to have several cuts from the trunk to make tables out of them, even if it's hollow inside. I've been getting monthly pictures taken of it so I can make a calendar for my siblings. In fact, one of my favorites is Blue Twilight Tree, but others on deviantArt preferred Twilight Tree. They liked the sunset colors, I like the blues.
Hi emma. Lookin good. Nice shot of the moon over the mountains, with the yard and trees in front. I like that.

^^ That one has a nice peaceful feeling to it.
emma sent me a couple of pictures of trees with hummingbirds that I'll try to post later-- or probably tomorrow, since I'm running a bit late tonight.

More pictures from emma:
emma with her black coral necklace and very purple shirt.
A hummingbird way up on top of a tree.
Zoom on the hummingbird. It came out pretty well.

You're welcome. That picture came out really clear, so it was easy to zoom in.

Here's a picture from emma of the Moon and a bright star:
It came out really good, considering how dark it was.
