The Picture Thread VIII: Take the shot.
First up: My aunt has been feeding the roadrunner.
Re: The Picture Thread VIII: Take the shot.
he's beautiful! But I always thought roadrunners feed only on lizards. What does she feed him?

Acme Roadrunner Chow.
That is a great picture of the Roadrunner. And it's very cool that he's befriended your aunt. I hope Maddie sees this.
And I get to make two Roadrunner jokes in one day.

Roadrunners will eat anything they can catch. I've seen them eat cactus wrens. My aunt been feeding him mealworms since he showed up with a broken leg some time back. He's healed up completely, but he still expects the handouts.

^^ That's a great pic. I'd like to see him outrun a Wiley Coyote. But first his leg needs to heal

That's amazing. I would have guessed it was the Moon if I didn't know it was Venus.
He knows who his friends are.

Oh my gosh. She is all kinds of adorable.
I'm not sure if I'm attaching the image correctly, but here I am at the ball!

Thank you! She is only 3 weeks old, but I can already catch a glimpse of her personality. She is a good baby, and is quiet most of the time, but when she does make a sound, it is very loud. She is also a noisy sleeper.
Very nice picture. I love your dress!

She is adorable, Cayla.
Nice to see you, opali.
A few random shots from me.
Our roadrunner. He's been staying the night outside our front door.

That's funny, because it's the first thing I thought of when I saw those pictures. She is very present.
That's a great picture. You really remind me of someone, but I can't think of who. It's going to drive me crazy.
Wow, those are beautiful. I especially like the last one:
"The Internet in three states is about to go down."
Aw, I think you should let him move in. He's a rescue, after all.Our roadrunner. He's been staying the night outside our front door.

And, thank you!
Thank you! It's actually a one piece that is palazzo trousers instead of a skirt. I was going for an Audrey/Katherine Hepburn kind of look since it was Golden Age of Hollywood. I felt very chic! And a little odd-man-out, since no other woman wore trousers! But, maybe that's how women in the 20's felt wearing trousers, too.
He's adopted you. You are roadrunner clan now.

No, you definitely don't remind me of you. I'm pretty sure I'm thinking of an actress from a TV show. It'll come to me.....
I've got a new picture from emma. Her outgoing email is working again, though she still can't receive.
Halloween cat ears!
And here's this morning's sun through the trees out back:
And I've also got a new picture of Chloe for the Pet Picture Thread.
