An epic battle took place last night in my water meter.

Isn't Black Widow vs Scorpion the name of a great movie? I'd pay to see it.

I think there was a series of movies about a superheroine called Black Scorpion.

It was a nice misty morning down at Wollaston Beach today:

Fog aside it looks like a pleasant day. I really need to see the ocean again.

It was nice. I like foggy mornings. They're very relaxing.

Well, I remember it from Donny & Marie, but I think it's older. I'll check.

It first came out as an instrumental in 1933, then lyrics were added in 1938.

I wonder if the landlords will get tired of losing money and invite Big Y back. Whole Foods might be nice, too, because I get a discount. Or it might be some other store besides a supermarket, I suppose. I don't know if you can make it out, but the place going in where Rite Aid used to be is an Asian Seafood Restaurant. My neighborhood is about 90% Asian, so Asian restaurants aren't exactly a novelty, but it's certainly a convenient spot, especially if they have my favorites, like spare ribs and chicken fingers.

Here in Richmond there is A LOT of empty retail space, thanks to people shopping so much online. It's sad seeing so many empty stores and huge empty parking lots.

Surprisingly, though, our local economy is good. I don't know how that can be, but that's what the data show.

I can't think of any empty retail space around here. But the South Shore is the fastest growing region in the state, and then Boston is just to the North, so that's probably why. It's probably different in central Mass or the North Shore.

So does that mean you'll have to pay a fortune for an apartment if you have to move out of your current place?

Rents are pretty bad around here. I will likely have to move to an over-55 place, unless I can score a good deal through contacts. My Uncle Mike had a great place on his street that he had lined up for my Uncle Joe (who stupidly turned it down), so I might get something like that. Or I might move out to the Northampton area, which is kind of my preference, other than it's so far from my Mother.

I hope you find something good and affordable. Would moving into your mother's house be an option?
