Looks like a nice city. Most of our close cities look like post-Apocalypic ghettos.

Very nice indeed. I like those rapids on the river, and the cool shot of the railroad tracks through the fence.

Post-Apocalyptic ghettos? Why is that? Now I have this image of ghost towns with tumbleweed blowing thru the streets.

Well a lot of places like Victorville, Barstow, and San Bernardino are kind of run-down looking.

^^ That's too bad. There are a few neighborhoods in Richmond that are on the rough side, but most parts of our city are pretty nice.

Here's another couple of pics from that same walk the other day.

There are some nice places farther afield. There's a neighborhood on the way to the Fair in Pomona that dominated by Arts and Crafts style houses that rather pleasant. Parts of Pasadena are also nice.

That's a great perspective shot. And the city seems to have a relaxing blue tinge to it.

Do you ever get down emma's way? I know it's a long-ish drive.

Haven't been down that way in years. I don't remember it being a bad looking area.

^^ I've checked it out on Google Earth. Her neighborhood looks densely packed, but nice.

Long weekends starting in August, as usual. But thank you, that is definitely one of the places I'd love to visit.
