It was a weird cold and allergy attack that just compounded into causing me to stay awake all night two nights in a row. That really messed me up. I don't recommend it.

I tried whipping up a quick cover for my Son of Krampus novel.

Krampus has a good-looking kid. Must take after his mother's side of the family. :D

I'm glad you're feeling better.

Time to start getting ready for Power, I guess.

It's just been such a long Christmas season, I am burned out for marketing.

Happy Holidays, blab.

That's a great ad, though. It captures the mood of the novel pretty well.

Thanks. Time to start begging for reviews, I guess. Probably should have done it a few months back but I just couldn't find the energy. Even now I'm dragging my feet. WHY DOES THIS SUCK SO MUCH?!

You need an administrative assistant. Some handsome young intern willing to do anything for job experience.

I assume you need the review on Amazon, so I will do that when I have a moment.

I'm also thinking of signing up for Ko-fi. My New Year's Resolution is to monetize anything I can. Do you use the free account or the paid account, and how is it working out for you?

I use the free account. I get all of my coffees through people I know. It doesn't really bring in anyone new.

Well, it's worth a try, I guess. I'm going to see if I can embed it in my webcomic posts. I've got a few hundred followers on Tumblr, so who knows?

My run-through of the Dragon Age series is complete, so I shall be resuming work on Hyperlight 9 next. :)

I got it in my head to try to edit Squire Hayseed and try to get that out maybe by March? I dunno, editing is proving to be a challenge and that book is LOOOOONG!

I can dig it. Once again, my New Year's Resolution is to increase my volume, but we'll see what happens....

Does it really need that much editing? It seemed more than fine to me.

^Oh yeah. There's a lot of misused words and I want to tighten up pretty much everything.

Anyway, for now more Power promo stuff. Sigh. I'm clashing with the publisher because I think paying $400 for an amazon ad, having your book added to KU, and it being told about to "20 or so places" is a waste of money.

Hmm. It might be worth it, depending on how the Amazon ad works and how many copies you'd have to sell to break even. What's KU?

I got it in my head to try to make a motion book cover. Sigh.

That's an interesting idea. Do ebook formats support animated covers, or is it strictly for advertising purposes?

It's just for advertising. It's becoming a thing.

It's still out with an agent, but I am running out of places to send it.

Well, that's good. Maybe the agent will be able to garner interest from a small press who doesn't just care about finding the next Game of Thrones.

If I get picked up by her. I'm hoping an agent could get in the door at Del Rey or Ace, both of which require agents.

Good luck, Lupy!

I'm so damn exhausted with Black Rose already, that I have no idea how I'll drum up any enthusiasm for the end of the month. They don't even have the damn ebook done yet for me to send to ARC reviewers. AAAHHHH!!!
