Nice, Lupy! I especially like the P-38.

Here's a cactus with a brand new bud. I totally forgot to look for another cactus with a new blossom I'd seen when I didn't have the camera with me.

That's interesting. Cacti never seem to look like the stereotypical ones in cartoons.

Looks like the cacti are taking advantage of the milder weather to do some serious growing.

So just after WWII? It's an interesting-looking design.

The first P-38 entered service in 1941, but I'm not sure when that particular plane was built or how long they were in production. A lot of fire-power on those planes. I've heard tales of them literally cutting Zeros in half with their guns. The Japanese referred to them as "fork-tailed devils".

Yeah, and I think they may be waiting for me to go away before they bloom again. I've been prowling around with my camera, hoping for a good shot of an open bloom, but after the first one that I missed, so far just buds large and small.

then, my aunt and father in their youth - and boy does my son look like hus grandpa - skinny, sulky, and....

lastly, my mom and her mom with pets in tbe past... yu can see where our street was still being built and this house was the end of it - they built another one going up at the end, then stuck afew more houses in between to join them up!

Yea, I'm seeing the same thing. Everyone's photos show up just fine EXCEPT Luppy's..
