Here's one I hear as a kind of Bluesy song in my head:

Eighteen Hours

Better eighteen hours on a train
Than three days on the road
and in cheap motels
It’s easier on the brain
To just pack up and go
Don’t ask, don’t tell

I’m headin’ south for the winter
And keepin’ to
the hinterlands
I’m gettin’ outta Dodge
to skip the blizzards
And bettin’ that the odds
are better as a wanderer
than a bitter man

Better eighteen hours on a train
Just watchin’ America
Outside my window
It’s a way to ease my pain
A way I might forget her
Good-bye, Shiloh

The train tracks beckon

Than one more second
