The Weather - Clowns In My Coffee

Even wilder and wackier than pre-crash Miscellaneous, the survivors talk about the weather, puppies, work, and coffee.

Most of the leaves have fallen off of the trees. Today partly sunny 51/36F.

Leaves are in the process of falling off some trees here but others are only beginning to turn colors. I've done a fair bit of raking already, but there'll be plenty more.

Not enough trees out here to justify raking. I only have a few sickly cottonwoods, an elm, and a couple of mesquite and they're just now getting a bit yellow- except for the mesquite.
High yesterday was 74 with little wind. No clowns. Low was 38.

It was definitely a dark and stormy Halloween night. By this morning, the wind had died down and the clowns were clearing up around sunrise, although they were still kind of spooky; they were hazy and blurry, like a high fog. Then we went through a few hours of bright sunshine. Then more hazy and blurry clowns floated in from the West. Now we're back to bright sunshine again. Stay tuned....

Lupy has an elm tree! What I wouldn't give to have a disease resistant elm tree in my yard....

Clowny and breezy here in Florida. Although I'm told the clowns may burn off.

I used to have two, one being a sapling. But the stinking gopher ate it. Not just the roots, but the entire tree!

Stupid animal.

After a couple of cold and blusterous days last week, it's back to 80s and low 90s during the day but cooling down to the 30s overnight. About 40 now and clear.

We had a bright and sunny morning, but that didn't last long. Huge monstrous clowns rolled in about 8oclock and merged into one gray billowing mass that got darker throughout the day. It was chilly and breezy, too.

Mostly sunny today, until the afternoon; then the clowns moved in and it darkened a bit, but still with occasional sunbeams. It seemed like it was fairly mild out; the apartment stayed warm without the heat coming on.
