A friend of mine has gone out of his way to make snide comments about Ocasio-Cortez in regards to her being a "Libtard" socialist. I find it humorous that the media are the ones fawning all over her and the Right are facing her like Dracula faces sunlight -- yet she's only one person of the 435 members of the House.

McCaskill sounds like she has a case of sour grapes.

The problem is that Ocasio-Cortez is a bit of a media darling at the moment despite having few accomplishments. Plus her threats to primary various opponents of hers makes it look like she might use her position to settle various personal scores.

She's very photogenic, but she kind of rubs me the wrong way.

I think she would do more good by remaining in the Senate. Then again, there is no guarantee she'll make it to the primary stage or even as the nominee.

Yeah, it's really early yet. She's certainly more towards the top of the pile than many other potential runners, though not without some handicaps.

She can beat The Donald, if the Democrats don't screw up royally. Which means she'd probably lose. Of course, we don't really know who she'll be running against.
