And the agent didn't want Children of Ares. Now I'll have to dig through the listings again to see if I can send it to anyone else.

Ah, cool. The prequel, if my scruffy brain remembers correctly.

Speaking of which, I'm reminded that I still haven't set up a Ko-fi account....

I got invited to post a book excerpt on The Captivating Quill. Went with Undercover Siren as I don’t have anything new even close to ready to go yet.

Have to admit, that’s never happened to me before.

I got it in my head to try making another moving book promo. This was hair pulling.

Smashwords paid me $1.81! Now I can order something off a value menu! :yum:

In other news I submitted Children of Ares to another agent.

You got accepted on the strength of your reputation alone? Now that's impressive.

Wrote a little on Murder the World yesterday as I'm still wanting to get a re-write in to lengthen it and add more detail.

In yet more bullshit from my publisher, I questioned why their marketing packages are so expensive when it doesn't add up. Suddenly they're tripling down on fun "marketing games" like this shit.

And this is what you get for your trouble:

In order to complete a line you're spending thousands of dollars and get a $50 for your trouble. Pass!

It's way too vague for my tastes, not to mention you kick in all the money and they reap half the rewards. That's a load of shit.

Had someone email me about them reviewing my book. Then I found this on the website: "I do not share my fee for a review on my website (only when I am discussing a book review with an author) however my fee for a review is in this figure $$.”

HARD PASS!
