Re: Author's Check-in #11
Another 2.5k done, and the REDACTED have arrived. Our heroes aren't quite sure what they are.
Oh, and Charashi is in command of the Asimov.

Good grief. I should pay more attention to what I say.
Indeed. Maybe a couple.

Take it as a sign of how much I value your counsel, RJ.

Another 2.5k. The political part of this plot is progressing.

Ah, the villains in this one are the politicians.
My copy of Halloween Between The Sheets arrived today, so I'll be reading Porn tonight-- strictly for research.

There are a couple things. One, this one isn't reverse harem while all of the halloween one was and two, the story for this has to be stand alone. For the Halloween one they just accept excerpts and the like.

Re: Author's Check-in #11
Okay, those are good to know. I wondered about the Reverse Harem thing, and the story that I read all the way through definitely felt like a deleted scene from a larger work. The odd thing about the Halloween book is that it has no table of contents, which makes it hard to find something I might find especially useful. Ah, well, I'll give it a shot. I'm sure to be rejected, but what have I got to lose?

The die is cast. I submitted my form. Now I have two weeks to come up with something, assuming they're even interested in me.

Good luck! It took them about a week or so to get back to me the first time.

I signed up for an online book con, and one of the things is for authors to have their characters battle to the death. So I had to whip up a character image of Jaya.

Very nice, although not how I pictured her.blablover5 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 17, 2019 6:19 pmI signed up for an online book con, and one of the things is for authors to have their characters battle to the death. So I had to whip up a character image of Jaya.
I don't suppose any of my characters would last long in a battle to the death, except maybe Blue Cowl.
