I've been warming to how AOC is shaking things up by not being the meek noobie who must "wait her turn" in governing. I still find it hilarious that the far right keep frothing at the mouth over her.

^They're panicking over the "Green New Deal" even though it's mostly legislative window dressing.

I just can't take "new party, who dis" seriously.

Once again, the GOP are whining about President Trump's actual abuses of Executive Power and Overreach but have done little to put him in check.

^They're either too afraid of his rabid followers primarying them or they privately agree with him.

I'm sure it's the former. I don't think there's more than a handful who don't wish that he was never born.

That quite interesting. More so than I thought it would be. I can maybe fault him for making it a little too simplistic. I am also a little uneasy with the "mob at the gates" category. There is a rather blurry line between this concept and pure scapegoatism. And it's been mis-used more than it has been put to good use with Yellow Scares, Red Scares, and general ethnic panics. I understand the point he is making but it is an area that needs to be treaded lightly. He does promote some good ideas at the end though.

Definitely some legitimate observations, though certainly an incomplete picture. But it's for sure that our current predicament does not represent the success of the Right, but the failure of the Left.

Wow. Investigations everywhere, and I'm surprised Roger Stone hasn't been sent directly to jail for Contempt of Court. Meanwhile, the President is flailing madly and everyone is scrambling like cockroaches when the light switch has been flicked.

^And yet nothing ever seems to happen. They called Reagan the Teflon President, but Trump has him beat.

Yeah, The Donald is far more repellent than Reagan.
