If Rod Serling were alive, would we need a Jordan Peel incarnation?

Can you imagine what Serling would have accomplished if he hadn't died at the age of 50?

Did you know that if Rod Serling were still alive, he'd be dead?

On a scale from 1 to 10, how would you rate Jordan Peele's Twilight Zone series so far?

If I said 5, would that be wishy-washy?

Is 5 the minimum rating you'd give a series for you to continue watching it?

Should we give it a break for the first season or so, just to give it a chance to find itself?

You're right. Do you remember how bad and uneven TNG was its first two seasons? And do you remember how long it took Seinfeld to get its footing?

Would you believe I liked the first two seasons of TNG? And would you believe I never watched an episode of Seinfeld?

Can you blame me if my face looked like this after I read your two questions?

Don't you suppose that there's a few things about me that would make you look like that?

What made you avoid Seinfeld? The fact that it was too trendy, too mainstream?

Does that mean you didn't like a screwup like Gilligan on Gilligan's Island?

Isn't it better to be a good-hearted screwup than a mean-spirited jerk?
