Back to the Zombie Apocalypse! Morgan and Company return for Season 5 tonight!

Excellent. I can't even remember where we left off. What was happening at the end of the last season? I seem to recall Morgan wanting to bring the group back to Alexandria.

[RJDiogenes]

No, he had given up on that. They had just tracked down the warehouse that the trucker had been using as a base of operations, and were going to start looking for people to help.

^^ Ahh yes, thanks.

And I just watched the episode. Apparently, they haven't been too successful helping people. The plane crash was amazing -- these walking dead shows have a way of arranging for cast members to suffer the most gruesome impalements. And now encounters with dangerous people.

The apocalypse just isn't meant to be easy

Plane crash?!

And impalements? Somebody's dead, I suppose.

Well, I saw the beginning. Holy crap, a plane crash. I think Lucinda is doomed.

Not necessarily doomed. She has remarkable recuperative abilities.

Maybe she's one of those people like Rick, who was made superhuman by the Zombie virus.

[RJDiogenes]

Hey, Max Headroom survived the Zombie Apocalypse. It's always good to see Matt Frewer in anything, but I have to wonder where this is headed. He's not exactly Negan-- just a guy who wanted his factory back, even if he is kind of an asshole. I mean, he could have easily negotiated with Morgan.

In any case, this is an interesting beginning to the season, especially given that it started off with a plane crash. I don't know if flying a plane that's been sitting around without maintenance for five years was such a smart idea, but it made for a dynamic opening. And now we've got radiation signs, guys in protective gear, and Zombie fences complete with hanging Zombie heads. Those clicking teeth were spooky.

I hope Luciana doesn't die, but I'm kind of resigned to the inevitable. Most cast members don't last very long in the Zombie Apocalypse.

Probably Luciana.

^Well, she's still alive. So far...

Interesting episode. I like the idea of radiated zombies.

But the highlight for me was seeing Salazar. He was my favorite character back in Season 1. Why he's been AWOL all this time is a crazy mystery.

I've only seen part, but I'm glad Luciana is alive and wants to play the accordion.

The radioactive Zombies should be interesting. Z Nation did that once, but I'm sure Walking Dead will handle it differently.

By the way, I heard that the same symbol that is on the radiation suits was on the helicopter that helicoptered Rick away.

Well that's cool. I like the continuity between shows.
