Good morning, everyone. :hello:

It's a groovy, foggy Friday!

Maybe the mutations have an exotic freaky look not unlike a Renaissance Faire costume, and the alien life walks among the faire-goers unnoticed.
There's a plot. :quill:
What grade did you get in Temporal Mechanics 101? :professor:

Happy Friday, all :hello:

Today we'll drive 2 hours west of here to hang out in the mountains of Virginia with The Wife's extended family. Her sister lives there in an un-air-conditioned house, so it better not be too hot. There are a few hiking trails, antique stores, and wineries to keep us busy this weekend.

Good morning!

Usually, Friday is a quiet day of catch-up work in our office, and the doctor stays home. Not today. :sob: I also usually get out at 4pm. Not today. :sob:

Addison wasn't impressed with the church basement. She said it wasn't night time, so it wasn't dark and creepy enough.

Addison is also getting that pre-teen girl attitude. There were times I felt like I was talking to her mother. *sigh*

I think my mother is coming to stay with us, tonight.

That sounds like a wonderful weekend, scottydog. Have a safe trip.

Thank you. :)

Almost forgot to say -- I may decide to go "offline" this entire weekend. So if you don't hear from me until Sunday evening, you'll know why. :peekaboo:

I was kind of hoping for unidentified toxic waste that seeps into the groundwater causing giant freakish mutations to grow and wreak havoc across the countryside.
Maybe the mutations have an exotic freaky look not unlike a Renaissance Faire costume, and the alien life walks among the faire-goers unnoticed.
 With some of the people I've met at Faires, I wouldn't be surprised.

Actually it should be A+=mc3, taking into account the geometry of 5 dimensional space/time in accordance with Brane theory. :lab:

Good evening, everyone. :hello:

In today's news: I got new slippers. It doesn't take much to make me happy.

I wonder how Gary is doing with his move. I think he should be back in his regular house by now.

We made it to Eagle Rock, Virginia. I didn’t bring my laptop but here I am posting on my phone — which is awkward and slow to say the least.

That's nice.
yes. no. agreed.
weather is changing between rain which is done with and sunny/cloudy warm again - though there is supposedly a hot spell coming up next week with maybe thunderstorms. Always nice to gas bag with L!
well...2 days with nothing on the agenda other than planting out pea/zuchini seedlings and doing some weeding down the plot!

Yeah, that's a real pain. Is Eagle Rock your destination or just a way station?

Happy Saturday all :hello:

We’re here in Eagle Rock, our final destination. There are waterfalls nearby, wineries, and antique stores that all need exploring.

There are also lots of The Wife’s family members here, including several small screaming children. Most alarmingly, these tiny creatures are putting a dent into my chocolate supply. :(

Good morning!

Today is our City Wide Garage Sale. Mom and I are participating with my next door neighbor. Addison and her friend are going to have a lemonade stand.

That sounds nice. We have a dearth of waterfalls out my way. I think I've seen two or three in my life.

Good afternoon, everyone. :hello:

My Mother has a little back porch facing the woods and in the middle of the top glass panel in the door there appeared the perfect outline of a bird. Ouch. There was no body or anything, so we assume that Wile E Pigeon shook it off and went on his way. I tried to get a picture of it, but I'm not sure how it came out yet.
