I think Disapora is ready to go on Kindle. I'm just making sure that I'm not forgetting anything.

I also downloaded "Kindle Create" software to see if it will be of any use.

That's a title looking for a book.
I've actually called it that when I've made my attempts.

Oh, cool. Is that freeware? How's it working out?

It's freeware that's offered right on the Kindle page at Amazon. Haven't done too much with it so far, but it does seem to do some things automatically that I was having to do manually before. A little too late to help with Diaspora, but I'll probably use it on Secrets in the Sand.

I just hit "publish" on Diaspora.

^Assuming that means on Amazon rather than simply creating the file, do you know when it'll be available? :) I'm not seeing it yet.

^Amazon said it could be up to 70 some-odd hours though I don't think it will be that long (it hasn't before).

Meanwhile I've been finishing up the formatting for Murder the World for Baen. After that I'll start getting Secrets in the Sand ready for Kindle.

I got Kindle Create, too, though I had to search Google for it.

I've been keeping busy. Finished my NaNo manuscript and sent it off to my editor. Wrote a short story for an upcoming anthology that I have to have polished and sent in by the 30th. Now I'm working on a pi-day themed story for my other series. Also somewhere in there is marketing stuff.

Ooh, I wonder if there is a Pi day anthology I could submit "Supernumerary" to. Must Google.

Didn't get as much work on Murder the World done as I would have liked. But I am doing some last minute proofing as I format. I also did some preliminary work on a cover for Secrets in the Sand.
