update on the adults and kiddies within the pond...

the pond is 2 x 3 meters....so 24 isnt so bad!!they are all up one end on the ledge in the picture, but there is plenty more pond if they get crowded...likewise the tadpoles.. they flock in one area...but there is plenty m ore pond if they want it

^ & I am happy to be able to see them - since relining the pond its much clearer and you can see underwater some!! i can enjoy watching the tadpoles fattening up and growing into even more frogs. i havent seen the newts again since that initial sighting though.

apparently newts eat tadpoles.....but atm i have plenty of taddies fatteing up...so the newts ca eat and there will still be new-gen froggies this year
