Starlight

Gazing up into the stars at night, I ponder
Do you, do you hear the words I wish to reach your ears
Or do I just mumble to myself in fear
The stars they sparkle, much like your eyes
Proving to me that there are no lies
Ticking away this clock it burdens
The night sky left empty, for the stars, they fall like tears
For now is not the time for me to disappear
