1 once its confisctaed its gone. no chan ce of recovery. he needed the paperowkjr when he bought it to have oit legally. and now its illegal to buy them anyway.1.He's not going to look into getting the necessary paperwork for it?
2.Do you eat raw seaweed, and/or do you dry it out? It's very healthy.
3.There will be plenty of sheep to count.
4.Actually they're not rodents.
Not needed in Ireland. I hope you have a good flight.
Brilliant and bizarre. One of my favorites.Fascinating. Harlan Ellison was a brilliant, complex, truculent man.
The Sheep Apocalypse will come, and we will sleep through it.That's true. We must love sheepy nations because we went to New Zealand and it has twice as many sheep as people
Nice. Now you just have to get up a petition for Patriot's Day.Actually, Richmond does have a marathon, and in fact it was named Top 15 Best Fall Marathons in the U.S. in 2015.
Sniffers of the Purple Ink. It explains a lot.I remember the delicious scent of ditto and mimeo machines and how we'd all sniff that beautiful inky smell of the purple ink.
Curse that Cretaceous Period!
What a shame. That hardly seems justified.Madeliaette wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 5:15 amonce its confisctaed its gone. no chan ce of recovery. he needed the paperowkjr when he bought it to have oit legally. and now its illegal to buy them anyway.
and theyre cute.....
Even lazier than that, with no Zooms. I hope your router comes quickly.a lazier day today - after dashing all over yesterday. just 5 zooms a plot trot and vegetating
I looked it up, and sure enough you're right. They're closer to primates and humans than they are to rodents. This totally explains the legitimacy of Batman.
You'd never survive a Richmond spring. There are literally 450 quadrillion flowers blooming right now.
I love eating raw sushi fish wrapped in seaweed
Awww, I can't wait to see them! I'll take pics for sure
I hope it arrives in a timely fashion.RJDiogenes wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 9:14 amWell, Maddie found out why she's been having Internet problems-- her router died (in the middle of a Zoom). They're sending her another one, but it may take 24-48 hours.
Thank you. It's United Airlines, by far my least favorite carrier. That means it'll be a miracle if we arrive there in one piece
I concur. But do you agree that Roddenberry's ending to City on the Edge of Forever was better than Ellison's?
RJDiogenes wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 9:14 amThe Sheep Apocalypse will come, and we will sleep through it.
Agreed. Bats are wonderful creatures.

The real reason dinosaurs went extinct.
Safe trip. May there be no Boeings on your path.

Bon voyage. Is it straight through from Newark to Shannon?
Luckily she's on vacation, so she can wait around for it to arrive.I hope it arrives in a timely fashion.
I don't think it's really productive to compare them. Ellison wrote a good story, but knew practically nothing about the show, the characters, and the tone at that point, so it really needed to be rewritten. He had worked in television long enough to understand that, but... he was Ellison.I concur. But do you agree that Roddenberry's ending to City on the Edge of Forever was better than Ellison's?
They eat insects and scare off cowardly and superstitious criminals.
Hmmm....The real reason dinosaurs went extinct.
Gotta watch out for those Woolly Bullies. No wonder the Woolly Rebellion was successful.

Yeppers. It's about a 7 hr flight.RJDiogenes wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 7:27 pmBon voyage. Is it straight through from Newark to Shannon?
Good point about not comparing them. Still, I think Roddenberry's ending was genius.RJDiogenes wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 7:27 pmI don't think it's really productive to compare them. Which it hopefully will, since it must be close to 48 hours now.Maddie wrote: Today I'll be shopping with L, then walking Tilly with L, and hope to get to the plot to water my crops as well as get reconnected online... if the router arrives today.
You can never get through customs with those things.

I'm checking for pods. At least I think I am.Who are you and what have you done with the real RJ?
It was still definitely what we'd call a "dangerous vision."Good point about not comparing them. Still, I think Roddenberry's ending was genius.

My two days off from work was hectic and sad. On Wednesday, I awoke to a text message, stating that my friend's father died suddenly. This was my second family, while growing up. I spent many of summer breaks, and holidays with this family. He had an embolism, while working in his basement. Mama Anna (his wife) found him hours later. I immediately went to the grocery store, went back to Vlad's, and began cooking for the family. They live near Vlad's home, so I brought over homemade soup, salad, bread, and breakfast pastries, yogurt, granola, juice, and fruit. Their oldest daughter (my best friend when I was a child and teen) drove up in the middle of the night, so she was there, along with her sister, who was my previous dog sitter. I spent the evening with them. Mama Anna is devastated.
It seemed like it was taking forever.
You're welcome. Welcome back. Thanks RJ for posting my text message up while i was awol... im back!

House prices are crazy, but they're selling like hotcakes. In this market, as soon as a house goes up, he makes an appointment to see one, but a few hours later, an offer has been accepted.
It is if you like potatoes and... uh... potatoes.
