Infirmary Thread the Second

Even wilder and wackier than pre-crash Miscellaneous, the survivors talk about the weather, puppies, work, and coffee.

My house has no ingredients, only TV dinners
the exact opposite of mine then - no tv dinners, only ingredients here - with the odd bag of corn chips or chili peanuts lying around for my lazy days!

I think.... i have caught my third cold of the winter season - i couldnt shake it off - it crerpt in on me. darn it.... now i got more hankies to launder, and i am almost out of garlic/chili too.... :Ahhh: i may have to pilfer dads garlic slices if i havent enough of the real stuff!

No tv dinners here, either. I've been trying to use as less processed food as possible. I've even begun to buy organic or all natural whenever I can afford it.

Knock on wood, I'm feeling pretty well.

Quite a few TV dinners here. Given his druthers dad would eat nothing but them instead of any real food.

Meanwhile, I woke up with a sore throat this morning. Nothing really bad, just a bit nagging.

That's how it starts...sore throat, then ears, then the cough.

Maybe it is from the dry air or an allergy. I hope you don't have the flu that has been going around. It's nasty.

Get some zinc lozenges and some honey just in case. And apples...I swear eating apples fights the flu virus.

Yeah I haven't had a New Years flu in quite a while. I'm not eager to start that trend again.

^^ Yeah, I hope you don't get it.

I hope you feel better, too, Madeliaette.

Today's new symptom for me is stuffed, ringing, painful ears. :wtf:

According to my Sister, I should be okay by Day 8. Today is either Day 6 or Day 7-- it came on me late last Sunday. So I'm hoping tomorrow will be a pretty good day.

Now I have a sore throat. Somehow, I think you had something to do with it.
