URGENT BULLETIN: Clear cookies to log in

Post by Renie »

Hi folks, I'm going to change the cookie path again so that the automatic login works. I had to change it back so y'all could get in. Here's how you clear your cookies:

Firefox - http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Deleting%20cookies

Chrome - scroll down - http://www.brighthub.com/internet/googl ... 67337.aspx

Internet Explorer - http://www.csmd.edu/employment/cookies.html

Safari - http://support.verio.com/documents/view ... oc_id=4069

Happy New Year! Please email abigail dot nussey at gmail dot com if you have any trouble.

Aha, that's what the deal was. When I tried to log in this morning (as opposed to my usual automatic login) I couldn't even see the main index. It just kept on

"You need to log in or register."
"You need to log in or register."
etc.
etc.

^Same here. But the good news is that the automatic log-in seems to be working now.

I haven't had any issues like that, without clearing my cookies recently, but I use a bookmarked link due to issues with a Googled version (issues with staying logged in properly).

Yeah, people have issues when coming in through Google-- I suspect it has to do with conflicts with the pre-Apocalypse board.
