Thanks, guys. I love her a lot - well, most of the time, anyway.

Here's a picture of Chloe from today. I found a stack of old vinyl platters in the back room of the office here, so I brought them to my Mother's house for my Brother to check out. Chloe decided they belong to her.

^ Cute pic of Chloe

Hmmm, is it my imagination or do Queenie and Chloe look an awful lot alike?

Queenie seems to have more white on her nose :wiggle:

It's true. They even have the same Laser Eyes of Death.

It's hilarious how Chloe's eyes reflect on the floor. :wiggle:

Okay, how can Chloe's eye be glowing that brightly? Is that a camera trick or is that feline possessed?

It was just a lucky shot. Her eyes caught the flash. It is kind of amazing how it reflects on the floor.

Ahhh.... the flash. My iphone never flashes, so I've forgotten that cameras have this feature!

I usually keep the flash turned off on my phone and camera, but it was too dark to see anything without it, especially since she was hiding in a bag or something.

Now, I didn't know you could turn the flash off. I'll have to check it out.

It's probably an icon on the camera screen that looks like a lightning bolt. You should have at least auto and off, and possibly always on.

We've decided (as I said right off, so Son has decided) that Merc is part Ocicat. He definitely fits the description.

Before we cleared the porch, there was a stack of stuff in the corner, he loved that stack, and when I would reach for the broom, he would grab my arm and hug it. Really need to make something similar for him to enjoy:
If you stack it-they will come.jpg
And Callie took about two seconds to claim my feed can when I laid a couple of blankets on top:
My bed, my feed can.jpg
Meanwhile, Ory, not a fan of Merc:

They are cute, even "Ball of Mean" (Ory), when she isn't trying to kill someone.

We arrived last evening to feed horses and kitties, and when I walked onto the porch, my son said: "Look. They sh*t a brick." :
They shit a brick.jpg
I looked, and said: "That had to hurt."

A couple more of Merc.

First, the Invisible Man visited:

Invisible Man.jpg
And this one caught his spots:

Merc's spots.jpg

Most of the time, they just look like stripes, but the light was just right, his hair was just right, probably camera angle, too, and his spots showed. That is also the side that has the marbling spot on his shoulder. The other side, completely different.

Okay, that is just so weird. My old problem still haunts me. :conf:

Do they never show up, or does it just take a while? I was looking at the formatting of your post and I'm wondering if you drag the pictures into the box or use the Place Inline button?

Thanks. Yeah, his looks (not the spots, though) reminds me of one I had many years ago.
He loves to hug, which was the first thing we learned about him. This photo was taken the second day after he arrived:

He was hugging my leg, so I picked him up, and he immediately hugged my neck

Son just took his glove off, set it on him and Merc just stayed there. Perfect photo opp.

They never show up again, and if I preview a second time, and there is more than one image, the second one will disappear, too. And forget deleting. I've tried, it never goes through, and won't stop. I have to leave the thread to stop it from trying to delete the image from "Attachments".
I use the "Place Inline" option.

The reason I ask is that when I look at the coding of your posts I only see the filename of the pictures, with no code brackets. When I post a picture as an attachment, it has the BBCode [attachment] around it. Quote this post to see how this picture looks compared to how the pictures in your post look. I don't know why it's happening, but it must be confusing the board software somehow and making it miss any pictures after the first one.

huh. Okay, when I place the images inline, I see the [attachment], but when I quote a post, [attachment] does not show, just picture name. jpg (although with your post, it's picture name. JPG).

Wow, you're right. When I quote my post, it's just the filename-- but when I edit my post, it's got the bracketed code. I give up.
