Chloe looks like she's full of beans. Or she just woke up.

Today, Queenie was insisting that I pet her and scratch her, and rub her whiskers.......and then -as she was purring loudly - she bit me. Yup. Just like a cat to do that..... :wiggle:

Actually, she had just knocked off the pillow that my Mother keeps there to stop her from scratching.

I don't think I posted any of these? This is Cali, aka Pudge, playing:
But I HAD it.jpg
The downstairs neighbor's cat. My son dubbed him Citrus. He likes our porch, and always wants to come inside:

I take it by the italics that this is unusual.

That's kind of amazing. Cats aren't usually that trusting.

I notice that your son is well protected.

Oh, she plays, but she tends to not move much when she plays. :D She will get silly, but just in one place. And she is the only cat I know, who will scare herself by rolling over.

I've always been able to get cats to let me pet them, unless completely wild. My son has also been able to. Gift or a curse.

 But nah, Merc is silly, but very gentle with the claws. My son just had his chore gloves on.

You should. Cats have this reputation for being aloof, but really, they are so loving. And if you get the right one? Free massages!

Of all the zillions of cats we've had, only two were aloof, including my Mother's current cat, who is actually warming up in her old age (the cat, not my Mother). My cat Boris, who I had when I still lived with my parents used to wait for me to come home from work, scratch at the door to my bedroom, lay on top of me when I was reading on the couch, and stood guard all night when I slept out in the back yard.

That's pretty cool. All you're backyard animals are getting tamer and tamer, just like Maddie's.
