This is kinda how I felt when I saw Carrie Fisher in "Blues Brothers".

I once had a conversation with a younger person whose memories of Blues Brothers were no hazier than mine, but because they hadn't seen both films at the peak of their popularity in close calendrical juxtaposition [There wasn't much to do in Boston at 3am in 1978-83 except catch the 24/7 showings of Star Wars at the Charles Theatre, so "the Star Wars frenzy" dragged out for years for my friends] Carrie's appearance was less jarring/memorable for them.

"You mean Princess Leia?"
"Yes"
"Was in The Blues Brothers?"
"Yes. Had a pretty major scene."
"No way. I'd have remembered that! Who did she play?"
"Mystery Woman"
"What? You're making this up!"
"That's how she was billed."

If I had $20 for every time someone didn't believe me about that. Wait. I do.

It's too bad I never figured out how to make a living on bar bets.
