Wow, I've been here over fifteen minutes and it didn't time out. Maybe we're in the clear. Knock on wood.
Re: Check-in Thread #96: Almost Spring Version
Still in the nest though. I did see Gimpy stuff and entire sparrow down the gullet of the oldest. I swear they must be all stomach.

Probably a teenager. Pretty soon he'll be getting FUIs (flying under the influence).
How cool. Does it mean more money, and maybe more enjoyable work?RJDiogenes wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 9:54 pmThere may be a job change for me in the near future. Internal transfer, not a different company. Fingers crossed.
Happy birthday to your nephew. Was there chocolate at the party?

Good morning, everyone.
It's Friday, and hopefully the timeouts will remain a thing of the past.

Very likely a little bit more money, but a less stressful situation.
Good luck. I hope they call today.Madeliaette wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2019 5:25 amwhen they ring - and if they dont i shall call tuesday.

Happy Friday, everyone
Today hordes of high school seniors who have been accepted for admission will be all over our campus. I volunteered to give a lecture on heroism to them and their parents. I actually enjoy meeting the parents more than the students.
They're predicting "severe weather" today, too -- a very high threat of big storms, high winds, and power outages
Hope y'all have a great day

What's indian tucker? Is that a food?
That would be wonderful. When will you know?RJDiogenes wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2019 8:29 amVery likely a little bit more money, but a less stressful situation.

Good morning!
The doctor is giving my coworker and I a short day today. He is Jewish, so he thought that he needed to give us a break for Good Friday, since it is a "religious holiday". Unfortunately, I need the time to prepare everything for Monday.
Tonight, I plan to color Easter eggs, and go to church.
scottydog, there was no chocolate to be found at this birthday party. My nephew wanted a strawberry cake. This younger generation of kids do not have the same appreciation of chocolate, as we do. My husband's nieces do not like chocolate cake. Addison does not like chocolate at all (I told her she could not possible be related to me). They all like vanilla more than chocolate. I fear for the state of our planet, once they are all adults.
I hope the road runners stick around.
I hope you get the transfer, RJ.

Good afternoon!
Sorry about the cryptical test message - I was just about to edit it when I got a timeout.
So far there is no clear pattern to the timeouts. I'm still at a loss what might cause them and therefore I can't say when they'll end. If they persist after Easter I shall contact the technitians. Not much use doing it now, I think, as during the Holidays there will be only a basic crew to deal with vital emergencies.

^If it's any help I haven't gotten any timeouts and I'm here around usually between 7:00 and 8:00 am PST and occasionally around 3:00.
Good morning, all.
I'm having my own technical difficulties as I was having trouble with this computer earlier. I think it has to do with Firefox though as I'm currently on Opera at the moment.

I have not had any issues with the time outs all week.

Good evening, everyone.
And the week from Hell has finally been Harrowed.
And the week from Hell has finally been Harrowed.
We had crazy wind here today.
Probably in a few weeks. This is essentially a job that a few of us have already been doing as part of our regular job for a few years, but they're spinning off a whole new area so they have to post the jobs. Which means interviewing and stuff. I've been there since the start (and my boss says the job description says "someone like Rick"), so I'm pretty confident that I'll get it.That would be wonderful. When will you know?
This frightens me more than The Donald does.
Thank you very much. I'm pretty confident, but not taking anything for granted.I hope you get the transfer, RJ.
I think we're free of the timeouts! I haven't had any in over 24 hours. I actually meant to text you today, but I got slammed again and now it's too late. I will do it sometime over the weekend when I know you're awake.huggle wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2019 2:40 pmSo far there is no clear pattern to the timeouts. Maybe a corrupt plug-in or something?
It's weird how it affected different people more severely and at different times.
Re: Check-in Thread #96: Almost Spring Version
I ended up refreshing Firefox but had to spent some time putting everything back together (IE, all my bookmarks, my home page, and the search bar).

What a pain in the neck. I hope that fixed it.

So far so good.
