24 chapters done! There's a real WTF pull the rug out moment at the end of c24... I hope the contrast isn't too jarring!

We like surprises.
Re: Author's Thread #12
Yeah I pulled it as it goes better in chapter 26 (which is half done). And the major battle is about ready to pop .. I'm going to have to add in some side story chapters to prepare the way for the cavalry the arrive.

Chapter 27 done. Some interesting revelations in this one... and the turncoat has turned one last time. Time to gear up for the finale!

Hyperlight 12 is out. Hyperlight 13 will be done with its first draft in the next two to three weeks, hopefully.

Sweet. I'll have no shortage of reading material when I retire.
Re: Author's Thread #12
Chapter 31 is done! I'm going to do three chapters on the trot with the same character group (other character groups are sleeping), especially as this particular group just went through a very Indiana Jones-esque entry into a facility! (Including dodging a boulder...)

Nice.
Re: Author's Thread #12
Secrets in the Sand got a good review from the same person who reviewed the other 2 books.
Oddly the review is dated April 30, even though I just now found it.
