^It happens. The orange crop there has been threatened in the past by frost.
59 here yesterday and clowny all day, which kept it from feeling warm. Low last night was 41 and might have gotten some misting as the ground was a bit damp this morning.
Lupy, tonight they are warning of a hard freeze. And I understand about the citrus crop and all that, but I guess I'll always be a true New Englander at heart. When I think wind chill, it brings to mind the warnings that say not to be outside for any length of time - say three minutes - with any skin exposed.
The mercury hit the low 40s today while grey skies rolled into town. Seems the overnight spells a chance for rain and possible snow showers. The lower air is too warm, so the snow will melt at the lower altitudes. The forecast calls for the snow/rain mix to continue through tomorrow morning while the temps will drop to the 30s.

Once again it bottomed out at around 16 degrees, but then began to slowly climb up to 36. It was nice and sunny, too. Looks like the really bad cold snap is over for a while.
Partly cloudy, high 42F, low 32F. According to the 10-day forecast, the rest of January, and the first of February will be mild, too. I'm hoping the rest of Winter will continue to be this way. Usually by now, the daytime high is in the teens, and we have at or below 0F wind chills.
The only way you may correct the bad things in your past is to add better things to your future.
