Oh, that's really nice. Did you use a tripod?
Do they still produce the same model that you prefer?Madeliaette wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 2:50 pm...i have 2 weeks vacation from work coming up, and have to be home for 2-3 days for workmen to come remove the cavity wall insulation - i might order a few things online then, so...but finding a stockist i trust....meauh.

It was a quick experiment so I just balance the camera on a post. I was just curious if the shot was doable or not.

It worked well. Did you click the shutter manually or use a timer?
Re: The Picture Thread IX: Look At That!
^Just manual.
I've never used the timer on mine.

Re: The Picture Thread IX: Look At That!
Me neither, but I've been wondering how much of a difference it would make.
Re: The Picture Thread IX: Look At That!
It might, depending on the time between pressing the button and the picture actually being taken. With mine there's a slight lag giving me time to back my hand away so the camera will be still when the shot is taken.

Oh, my goodness. I guess she's fighting boredom, but I'm not sure who's winning.

I came here looking to be scared (and scarred) by Elara's snow pictures but this is much funnier
Re: The Picture Thread IX: Look At That!
My sister is going to have this photo made into a framed poster. One of her older sister's is in acrobatics, and the other is a cheerleader, so I think she was imitating them by trying to do a headstand or hand stand in her crib.

Snow in the desert is pretty, Lupine.
These first shots are the day of the blizzard:
These are the day after:
And this is how snow covered the road is, which isn't even near as bad as it can get:
Okay, fingers crossed, because I am not allowed to preview in here.
She is showing how she is going to do both.
Now, scottydog, now.
