She's been writing it on and off most of her life. I transcribed a good deal of it. Not sure she'll do anything with it. As for the map it's a little too big to scan.

From the stuff I've transcribed for her, what she has can be broken into a series of books- if I could convince her to actually work more on it. But I can't convince her to writing down her experiences as a photographer in the 60s.

Wow, those are beautiful. The sky is perfectly set off by the silhouettes of the bare trees.

Thank you. Yep, as cold as it gets, for really cool (no pun intended) evening shots, this is the best time of year.

And if it's sunrise then it's a good thing there are no sailors in that neck of the woods.

I can see the Pileated woodpecker! We had one visit here last year. I know they are destructive, but I am hoping it comes back and makes a home here.

This woodpecker usually goes after bugs living in dead trees. Have you seen them hurt living trees?
