Crowdfunding for an Exhibition

Post by Jim Gamma »

Hi all!

So I'm involved in the MaMoMi Initiative's 91-DIVOC exhibition later this year, mostly from behind the scenes helping with logistics. The exhibition aims to display how COVID-19 has affected the lives of disabled (predominantly visually impaired) artists, and reflects on what we have all learned as a result.

We're currently looking for assistance with funding, and have a large range of rewards on offer. Unfortunately the way our crowdfunding host works, we have to go in tiers with one reward at each tier, but we do have a number of items available other than what's on the main page. We'll be getting a full list up hopefully at the weekend, but there are a few glitches to sort out first. (As ever...)

If you want to attend, tickets are FREE and will be available on the EventBrite website from 20 September to 16 November (when the exhibition starts). If you want to be reminded when tickets are available, EventBrite will be more than happy to do so - there's a relevant link on their page.

Even if you don't want to donate or attend, we would very much appreciate any sharing you can do of these links! :)

Sorry, Jim, only members with Avatars are allowed to start threads. Also, members are required to post responses to all home-made videos that the Forum Administrator posts.

Just kidding. This looks great and I'm about to take a look at the links. I've put a link to this thread in the Check-In Thread as well.
Please visit RJ's Drive-In. :) And read Trunkards. :) And then there's my Heroes Essays at U of R. :)

Thank you to everyone for your support so far on this crowdfunding campaign! We're pleased to announce some additional rewards - check our events page for details! To get one of these rewards, please contribute without selecting a reward, and use the Contact Project page to let us know which one you'd like! :)
