Maddie, I love the names of all those birds that can be seen on the reserve. Very cool.

The Stoddard Wells Gem and Mineral Show.
Nice. It does look pretty big.
I hiked out to this outcropping.
And found a campsite on top.
And I took some film from the top of the outcropping.
That countryside is so perfect for a 1950s monster movie. You should write a script and do a Kickstarter.

^^ Great pics, Lupy. What a perfect location, and some terrific events, activities, and costumes.
It didn't look like there was a good turnout. I hope enough people showed up to make it worthwhile for them.

Turn out actually too bad for a smaller Faire. Perhaps not as much as the pre-pandemic, but it was nice.

So cool. And I love the little river. Was the Faire at this same location before, because that looks familiar.

^Yeah, Hesperia Lake Park where it was before the Pandemic.
Kind of wish I had gone today as all the pics other people are posting make it look like the weather was less windy today.

^^ Are your weather forecasters any good at predicting the wind?

^No, but I do have to excuse them a little as the terrain here can make things unpredictable.
