In this thread we can post the artwork that we have created-- sketches, paintings, collages, CGI, butt photocopies-- nothing is off the table.
We'll start with this:
A Bridge Too Far by me.

Very cool. How did you do that? What inspired you?

Not on the same scale but here's a painting I did back in high school.

^^ Wow, that's great. What else have you got? Have you thought about painting your own covers for your books?
When it comes to art, I just get a lot of imagery in my head, most of which would be beyond my ability to create. The golden color scheme is something I see a fair amount in imagery and dreams. In this case, I sketched out the basics and then elaborated on them with a painting program until I got it as good as I could. The two figures are imported from my vast collection of Roaring 20s artistic nudes-- that required a lot of detail work to isolate them from the backgrounds and touch them up and so forth.

I'd have to get paint and get back into practice.RJDiogenes wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 10:09 pm^^ Wow, that's great. What else have you got? Have you thought about painting your own covers for your books?

I sense a lack of desire. If you have a tablet, there are free paint programs that use a stylus.

Here's another one that I think I'm done with. Of course, Arthur C Clarke once said that no work of art is ever completed, only abandoned.
Actually, I do need a better name, so there's that.
