The emma Memorial Thread

Even wilder and wackier than pre-crash Miscellaneous, the survivors talk about the weather, puppies, work, and coffee.

That's a great picture. She looks really nice. That would have been when she was pretty much recovered from her little stroke from the previous Christmas (which hadn't even been diagnosed yet), and the first big stroke, which was in late November 2016. A lot happened in the next five years.
She told me multiple times that she really liked the way she looked in this picture. And she complimented my "selfie" skills

I've been away.

I'm very sorry emma's gone. She was a sweet person. I don't know what else to say that hasn't been said.

It has now been two years since emma died. Here are some pictures that I don't think have been posted before, at least not for a long time.

Image

Here she is dressed up for Halloween. The original picture was labeled 2015, so this is her about thirteen months before her first big stroke.

Image

All bundled up against the cold with her puffball hat.

Image

I'm not sure what the story behind this was.

Image

And here she is wearing some kind of a lei (with maybe some kind of flying horse behind her).

^^ Thanks for posting these pics. I think about the meal we had in Palm Desert in 2016, and how much fun we had. Life is short, folks

She talked about the Greek lunch with you and the Faire with Lupy a lot, right up until she basically lost all her memories. Those days meant a lot to her.

Some of them are probably scattered around various old Picture Threads, but it's nice to have a bunch in one place.

thanks for all these lovely pics! It's funny, we first met on Keith Hamilton Cobb's message board in 2001, so I knew her for quite some time, but at ReNext I first saw pics of her.

You never know where it will take you. We first met at Ex Isle in Rae's Hug Thread, when she was being treated for breast cancer.
