I remember when the weirdest predictions involved Atlantis rising and space aliens descending. I don't think anybody even bothers with that stuff anymore.

And a lot of the "predictions" seem to be mostly wishful thinking.
The only thing I'm predicting is that 2024 is going to be politically hell on earth (and now that I made that prediction hopefully it won't come true
