Ah, good 'ol Gigantopithecus. :footprints: The ape has been a staple of Bigfoot theorists for ages. Probably not too scary in real life as they were related to Orangutans and probably looked similar.

Ah, I love Gigantopithecus. There's a species I'd like to see cloned back into existence. Also, that name just rolls off the tongue. Gigantopithecus Blacki is even better-- it sounds like a giant ape private eye from the 1940s. :cooldude:

I think I'd be scared if I saw one :scared:

Well, that prefix is perfect for anything that you want bigger. Gigantohydrox. Gigantoreeses. Gigantopenis. Gigantoworldpeace.

Immortality in 2030, extinction event in 2045. We can't win for losing.

In the meantime, we can entertain ourselves with Moo-maids. :cooldude:

There's no way this could happen in only 7 years. Beyond that fact that I've never bought into "Singularity" the testing of the proposed nano-bots will likely take decades even after they're invented.

Unless they decide to not wait that long.

Holy crap

Do you get the feeling that one day AI will figure out how to create a super-animal that's a conglomeration of all the best animal features?
