That looks good, and sounds like all stuff I would like.
Re: The Picture Thread XII-- Dozen It Look Nice?
Some select pics of the Faire yesterday....
The parking lot was flooded again- or perhaps still flooded from last year.
Mount Wilson Observatory is visible from the Faire.
More birds around this year.
The Faire can be exhausting at times.
My aunt gets a lot of respect there.
Beautiful day.
Trying to get a glamor shot.
A parade for the Queen!
And for those of you who are late the full unedited album us here.

Everything's very green, probably because of all that water. I can see two tiny people way up on the ridge.
And vice versa. Except they can see you better.Mount Wilson Observatory is visible from the Faire.
Maybe because of the possibly permanent flooding. The local ecology may be changing.More birds around this year.
There's my cosplay: Medieval slacker. The Faire can be exhausting at times.
As well she should. I bet everybody knows her.My aunt gets a lot of respect there.
Yeah, it looks fantastic.Beautiful day.

There's a bike path along the ridge of the dam.RJDiogenes wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2024 8:14 pmEverything's very green, probably because of all that water. I can see two tiny people way up on the ridge.
My aunt knew Bonny's parents before they had met each other. I think she was even in a Commune with her mother.RJDiogenes wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2024 8:14 pmAs well she should. I bet everybody knows her.My aunt gets a lot of respect there.

Ah, I did not know about the dam. What dam is it?
Aw, that's nice. Is her mother still around? My aunt knew Bonny's parents before they had met each other. I think she was even in a Commune with her mother.
That's strange, I can still see them. It must be geographical.Madeliaette wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 5:01 amsigh. off to fb......itds already coming up 'image' instead of pics.
That's a fantastic shot. I'm not sure if that's a sunspot or a base station for the invaders from Zeta Reticuli.

Great eclipse pic, Lupy. Did you take that pic through the lens of eclipse sunglasses?
Re: The Picture Thread XII-- Dozen It Look Nice?
^Yeah, I hold it up to the lens of the camera. Works out pretty good.
The Santa Fe Dam. Primarily it's for flood control.
As far as I know.RJDiogenes wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 8:12 pmAw, that's nice. Is her mother still around? My aunt knew Bonny's parents before they had met each other. I think she was even in a Commune with her mother.

Cool. I've got it up on Google Earth. From this angle I can see the flooding-- the trees and vegetation are half submerged.
She just doesn't do Faires? As far as I know.
Re: The Picture Thread XII-- Dozen It Look Nice?
^She showed up a couple of years ago, but it's mostly Gary and the kids who do the Faire.

Here's the wife and i out to dinner. On FB, Lupy said the hat looked good on me.
A friend said that I looked like Hannibal at the end of Silence of the Lambs:
But I think it's more the Kolchak look:
