^I've heard of it but haven't seen it yet.
Then there's the great Robotech (not quite the original opening I remember from the 80s, but the closest I can find).

Re: Your Favorite TV Themes!
It boggles my mind that the show has never been released on DVD. I've never even found an explanation of why it was never released. There are a couple of episodes on YouTube, though.
I do remember that one, although I could never get into Anime. Except I do remember enjoying Project A-KO.Then there's the great Robotech (not quite the original opening I remember from the 80s, but the closest I can find).

You can have my Oxford comma when you pry it from my cold, dead, and lifeless hands.

And speaking of Anime (and on the newer side)
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
And Ghost in the Shell: S.A.G. 2nd Gig.. Not as good as the first season, but the theme is cooler.
Code Geass, went through a number of openings, but the third one here was the best of them.

Re: Your Favorite TV Themes!
Somehow that led to Futurama, but I fixed it.
That's an all-time classic.
I watched both of those shows, but I had completely forgotten the themes.
That's some impressive animation.Lupine wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2023 9:31 pmGhost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex

And, of course.

^I think this was what you're looking for.
Used to what that growing up.
And we've certainly forgot an important one.

Re: Your Favorite TV Themes!
Classic Vaudevillian opening. I wonder if this is what inspired the format of The Muppet Show.
Oh, yeah, that's a great one. And I've heard that we might be getting a revival.

Re: Your Favorite TV Themes!
I'm pretty sure I remember that theme being used previously in the early 70s.

^That one is iconic.
Battlestare Galactica was great back in the day.
Even the remake didn't have a bad opening. The show sucked, but the opening wasn't bad.
And you're right. Looks like the same theme was used in the earlier Bugs Bunny ShowRJDiogenes wrote: ↑Tue Aug 01, 2023 8:26 pmI'm pretty sure I remember that theme being used previously in the early 70s.

Re: Your Favorite TV Themes!
I always got a kick out of that.
And I always got in trouble for using the Rifleman sidelong dirty look on my Mother.
Yeah, I liked the Ancient Astronauts theme, which they never really got into enough.
Re: Your Favorite TV Themes!
A couple newer ones.
The incredibly awesome theme from Justice League.
And the one from Justice League Unlimited. Not as good of a theme, but the show was better (note: the credits early on showed clips from the upcoming episode).
