Three more races until The Chase begins....

1. Greg Biffle 823
2. Matt Kenseth 803
3. Dale Earnhardt Jr. 801
4. Jimmie Johnson 795
5. Brad Keselowski 776
6. Martin Truex Jr. 763
7. Clint Bowyer 757
8. Kevin Harvick 738
9. Tony Stewart 728
10. Denny Hamlin 727
11. Kasey Kahne 694

As of today, the final Wild Card Spot is up for grabs by...

Carl Edwards- 12th place in points no win
Ryan Newman- 13th in points one win (Go Newman, go!)
Kyle Busch- 14th in points one win

Drivers up for NO. 1 spot once Chase begins (3 wins each)...

Jimmie Johnson
Brad Keselowski
Tony Stewart

I do not want JJ or Keselowski winning a fourth race for obvious reasons.

Thanks for the info. I'm rooting for Tony, too.

And RJ, I won't believe that you've watched a race unless I see you watching in person!

It would be nice to have a Chase without Edwards, Busch, and Gordon. I heard a rumor about Gordon was wanting to drive part time next year...

Also, Joe Gibbs Racing signed Hamlin, Logano, and Kenseth. The rumor is Kyle Busch will be looking for a new ride!

Stewart-Haas news....Newman's contract is up. With the Army pulling out as sponsorship, there is a question whether or not Newman can stay.

The race is on tomorrow evening instead of Sunday.

Yes, me too. But I can keep an eye on both - mostly the movie and check the race during commercials.

I know you probably won't check in again before the race, but Danica is racing tonight.

So, I was watching the movie and flicked back to the race just in time to see Tony throw his helmet at Kenseth. I didn't see what happened to precipitate that, just the result. Tony was very angry!

It was Tony fault. He tried to pass Kenseth for first, got too aggressive. Temper, temper, temper.
