Never seen Horse Feathers? You really ought to do something about that, you know.

Ah, Horse Feathers. Yes, I'm sure I've seen it, but probably not for decades. It will probably turn up on TCM.

I've disabled new registrations. Tired of the spambots. If you know someone who wants to register, then please PM either me or RJ.

Also, the CAPTCHA problem some of you have been experiencing means that someone is trying to hack us. Lovely, eh? Please make sure all your passwords are strong, especially admins. That is, mixed case and numbers.

So I'm thinking this MOD will be the next step for this board:

http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=2102972

It's registration by invitation only. I'm not sure when I'll have a chance to add it --- my spring and summer up until about August 1 are completely full up (in that, I'm taking two vacation days -- tomorrow and Friday --- and this might be all I get until August 1, or beyond depending how the summer school went).

What about in the meantime setting up an e-mail address, say on Yahoo or something, where applicants can request to join?

Actually, we have one on gmail that Sean set up the last time Starscape closed forever. I forget the address and password, though.

I wonder who is trying to hack us and why.

Don't worry, it's probably just a machine. Wait, that sounded even scarier. I mean, it's probably just a bot thing that randomly selected our board. It's been happening to other PHPBB boards more often, lately. Since you and I are Founders, we have to keep our passwords strong and safe. If anyone else is hacked, it's easy enough to change the password and clean up the mess. But if a Founder is hacked, bye-bye board :(

I think I'll set up register at nusseymagazine dot com, but it would be good if a handful of people were able to see that. Until then, anyone can email me at abigail dot nussey at gmail dot com.

Okay. I doubt if anyone could hack my Password, but I just made it even more complicated.

I still have the email and password saved in a PM to RJ if anyone of Power needs it.

I found it. Luckily I saved the PM. Nobody ever used it, though, unfortunately.
