Updating Style

Hi all,

I'm in the process of updating the style, which will be a fairly long process --- there are 8 versions to update, and each takes 1 - 3 hrs.

You might notice some differences - faster loading, more options, etc - but please keep your eye out for any BREAKAGE. Any issues that crop up. I'm going to be testing the changes and will have backups of old versions, but I might miss something here and there. Please let me know.

I'll keep an eye open as well. Is the look o the board gonna change dramatically?

^Nope, my goal is to have the board look just the same (in terms of graphics and so on) but to update to the newest version of all the code, which might include some updates and removal of errors. One which will come later, for instance, is a quick reply box.

Cool. Will we have additional BBCodes? I tried to write a custom horizontal flip code to go with my custom scrolling codes, but I didn't do very well.

At this point I'm just getting the stylesheets updated to whatever the current version is. That might mean a few new BB codes, but we'll probably need to add those on afterwards. Those are pretty easy to add ... you might find ones that are pre-written on the phpbb boards to do what you need them to do, and they can be added through the admin panel.

Oh, RJ's an Administrator now.

I need to figure out how to change the Mods group so that they don't have Admin permissions. Once I do that, Mods will be green

Hey you know, good point.... in general, shouldn't The Grape be purple??

^^ Our regular font is purple. You'd have to change the whole design.

I tried that, too, with no luck. But I did find a BBCode list that included [fliph] and [flipv] (horizontal and vertical), so I wondered if they were part of an upgrade.

Fixed the Mods, who are now a lovely shade of green
