Hockey Season 2008-2009

Post by Hasu »

Even though I might be one of the few people talking in here what's a hockey season without a hockey thread?

Now, while I have minimal hope for all my teams this year, like I did last year, it's only preseason. And random thought: I might be able to get a work placement with the Oilers =D

OK kiiddo. I can't promise to keep a close eye on the season, but I'll at least try to keep an eye on the local team- Boston Bruins. :D

Yeah, its going to be their 3rd jersey and ive been thinknig of investing in a new one so Ill probably just wait till that comes out so i can get that 40% discount.

Actually, I think that Montreal is coming out with a new jersey too. Which is going to be weird after so long with out ever changing their jerseys.

Ive been thinking of getting my two year old cousin an oilers jersey for Christmas. We have these cute pink oilers jerseys for kids.

ETA: The Oilers jersey is going to be revealed tomorrow morning at 10am oilers time.

It's sucks when your the only supporter of a sport. There are very few rugby league fans on trekbbs.

K. Now I am just amused. The New 3rd jersey for the Oilers is the old jersey from the 1970s.

I don't keep a close eye on the Sabres, but I do hope they make the playoffs this year, however unlikely that may be. They were doing fantastic a few years ago. Now, it seems that Buffalo's sports teams are in a rut. Kind of...( the Bills had a 4-0 season until last game)

The Sabres changed their jersey a year or two ago. I have to say, I'm partial to the old black, red and white one, and not this new blue and gold one.

My grade 7 teacher adored the sabres. I always thought he was slightly weird considering he was the only sabres fan Ive ever met to this day. Or at least from canada. But then again, I am one of the few Canadian Kings fans around. Oh well, my mustdard yellow jersey from the 1960s totally pwns all canadian teams haha
