Re: You should never think without an image - Aristotle

Well by couple I meant 4 days  And when you have a digital camera with a 16 gb card in it you tend to not care how many different angles you should, just as long as one of them is the "perfect" picture.

Re: Do you like

I never have problems with sleeping, be it alone or with my girlfriend. But one thing is for sure. Having her next to me calms, relaxes and warms me. And I love to cuddle.

RJDiogenes wrote:Well, that makes it sound almost like Asimov, who was very idea driven; his novels were very dialogue heavy.

I wouldn't know ... I've never read Asimov  But I'll see if they have some in the local library after I've finished Angels and Demons.

Re: What are you reading?

I give myself enough interruptions ... I'm not able to read for long periods of time. Anyway, the book! It's very intricate when it comes to the religion and politics of the Dune universe, close to being very philosophical even. There comes a certain understanding for the different values (especial...

Re: What are you reading?

Just finished Dune by Frank Herbert and I loved it. Almost done with Deception Point by Dan Brown as well. Want to start on the 2nd Dune Messiah book, but it was sold out just before I went to Holland. Hopefully when I go into the city this week they have it again.

Re: Sophie can ride a bike!

I think I was 4, I had the coolest red little bmx with training wheels, but they had to go off, they'd been ridden to shreds. Have been biking since, went to high school on one. Every day 10 kms to and 10 back, and later that became 13. Even rode my bike into the river Rhine in a nasty Autumn storm ...

Re: Thai food

I believe it's origin lies in Indonesia. Being Dutch I grew up with Chicken Sate/Sateh/Satay, with Indonesia being a former colony. It's actually just as common in a normal restaurant/snackbar as it is in a proper Chinese/Indonesian restaurant in Holland. It's the thing I would miss most while livin...
